I know that some of the early pre-order holders heard from guides several months ago, but I'm curious to know as we come close to the first 'new delivery dates' (August/September) if anyone has actually heard from guides about there R1S delivery? Note this is for R1S, not for R1T.

For guessing the first R1S deliveries we at least have the benefit of looking how things rolled out with the R1T. While I'm sure there will be differences in how the R1S rolls out there are likely to be similarities as well. What I saw with the R1T was something like this... 1) No R1T's at...

It's tough to tell what makes a difference. Certainly config (especially Ocean Coast or no) and location seem to be very big factors. In terms of skid plate or no it's likely a marginal difference but they have said in the past that they are prioritizing more expensive models/configurations...
