It’s very simple
EVs are wonderful commuter cars if you have a charger at home; nothing comes close.
For long road trips, they are not a great option apart from those with lots of time & patience on their hands.
Dooming & glooming over things that haven’t even occurred, usually centered around politics where the sky is perpetually falling - most often seen on Facebook rants.

The election changes nothing. Rivian will live or die based on the success or lack thereof of the R2. Nothing more, nothing less.
Any other discussion is just noise
They better figure this out over the next year else they risk having the R2 launch be disappointing which they absolutely cannot have happen as it’s the only thing that can save the company at this point
I have both.
Rivian - better range, larger space, more hp (depending on option), Gen 2 has better cameras than Tesla, gen 1 worse.
Tesla - more refined tech, NACS is better, cheaper/faster to charge, much better stereo; more car like driving
