That is NOT a Lectron adapter review. That video was uploaded a month ago and was done before Tom even got his Lectron adapter. Tom will be uploading his actual Lectron adapter review soon. The video you posted was an interview with Lectronās CEO.
Ive got an A2Z one, and if you need it quickly, then thatās your best bet. But it has a slight usability flaw that Lectron doesnāt have. When you plug in the Tesla plug, you have to manually slide a slider underneath the adapter to a locked position (and make sure it isnāt locked before you plug...
EA bought the cheapest chargers they could find at any given point to hit targets. No wonder they break all the time.
It'll eventually go bankrupt and someone will buy it for the locations and replace the gear with functioning gear.
Indeed, and Iām glad I bought my adapter early and didnāt listen to the naysayers here who said I shouldnāt. I mean the mods even locked a thread because of a debate about buying/not buying an A2Z adapter. I was even called a shill for pointing out that A2Z was selling one.
Not that Iām bitter...
Stop it guys! At no point did the OP ask about charging USING 3 phase power. He just said he had a bunch of 3 phase power receptacles. So the solution is to extract a single phase from such a power distribution system and use that. Indeed that's the solution that the OP himself suggested.
Your proposed solution is probably the best youāll find Iām afraid. There just isnāt much of a call for adapting European plugs to North American ones!
While it may seem kludgy, itāll work well since the Tesla Mobile Connector will advertise to the car that it can draw a maximum of 25 amps or...
They are. New Superchargers will have longer cords and placed in the middle the parking spot to allow anyone to charge.
The problem is the 15,000 existing charging stalls. It took Tesla 10 years to get to that many in North America, it'll take a long while to build out new and replacement...
That's not quite what Farley said. He said he had an employee of his contact Tesla a couple of years ago about using the Superchargers. Who knows what was relayed in that meeting. Tesla might have said, go ahead and change your charge port and then you can use it which would have been...
Lots of new info. Well worth listening to.

Ford CEO Jim Farley announced Ford's transition from the J1772 and CCS1 plugs to Tesla's North American Charging Standard (NACS) or J3400 connector.
This allows Ford vehicles access to Tesla's extensive...
They have got to change it. It is the worst place in that it is farthest from the driver. And not Tesla SC compatible which is the best charging network.
A2Z are now shipping their second batch of adapters since I just got an email saying mineās on itās way, shipping via UPS. So far I havenāt heard of anyone receiving a Lectron adapter.
And yeah, not sure how allocation is going to work on the Rivian end given Ford is backlogged on their...
