I recently looked at a 2026 Subaru Solterra Limited XT (mid level trim with AWD). Lower HP, shorter range, not as good off road but still does pretty well. Dealer offered it to me for $39K. That's $7K below MSRP. If Rivian wants to sell the R2 in volume they will need to get below $50K ASAP.
