  1. R1S : Oct-Dec Delivery (Now Jan-Feb or Feb-Mar 2023)

You can complete everything including the contract. I would wait on the final payment and insurance until you have a set delivery or pick up date.
  2. R1S Delivery today: Quick Summary

I'm pretty sure for these to be MY23 they would have to be manufactured in 2023 by law.
  3. R1S Delivery today: Quick Summary

Thank you...damn they are moving these off the line, over to Brooklyn and out the door quick...! I talked to my guide today and she mentioned that the Brooklyn SC is doing home deliveries but forgot to mention the 3-4 hour radius requirement. What interior do you have? I'm hoping my forest...
  4. R1S Delivery today: Quick Summary

She's beautiful. Questions: I'm also in NJ and got matched to a VIN last week. How long did it take from your 8 steps opening up to it being ready in Brooklyn My vehicle is still in Normal but they are giving me a soft delivery date of 2/22 - I think that's aggressive! Last four in your VIN...
  5. Picked up my R1S Yesterday and I have zero complaints

What's your VIN # last few digits?
  6. Tip the delivery guy?

I'm not sure if it's the lingering effect of the lockdowns but I feel like tipping has gotten out of control. I offer a few water bottles and snacks (granola bars, trail mix, chips, etc) to any large delivery to my home (furniture, vehicle in this case, appliances, etc) For contractors doing...
  7. Has anyone with an R1S adv trim ever been matched to an LE Trim?

I was given access. Dates in config. Although the one week I did have access no inventory showed up.
  8. Has anyone with an R1S adv trim ever been matched to an LE Trim?

Yes there are others. I can't find it now but there have been ADV deliveries posted on Rivian Reddit and FB groups. It's happened already.
  9. 2022 vs 2023 Tax credit…Again

The safest bet is definitely coming in under 80k. They will release more guidance as we get closer to EOY 2023 just like they did in 2022.
  10. 2022 vs 2023 Tax credit…Again

This makes my head hurt...They did release new guidance today: https://www.irs.gov/pub/taxpros/fs-2023-04.pdf I don't see anything listed about the binding agreements in the latest guidance. Back to square one - hoping that sometime in 2023, the below wording changes from: Purchase date vs...
  11. 2022 vs 2023 Tax credit…Again

Well this is clear as day that the Binding Agreements won't hold their weight on deliveries after 12/31/2022. Edit - I should clarify, they will still apply but the AGI and vehicle MSRP will come into play.
  12. Counterpoint to the onslaught of negative points

Thank you! That is a stealth hitch and in fact I'm getting ready to sell my Telly soon. I've done some upgrades to it and not sure where I should list it. I digress. Back to Rivian talk!
  13. Counterpoint to the onslaught of negative points

No offense taken and without a doubt...Kia dealers are notorious with upcharging these vehicles like crazy!!!
  14. FOREST EDGE Rivian Interior Photos

Absolutely!! If we don't ask for it the answer will always be No!
  15. Counterpoint to the onslaught of negative points

We love our Telluride. In fact it's going to set my bar pretty high when I take delivery of my R1S. The functionality, value, and design of the Telluride are unmatched right now in the 45-50k range of mid size SUVs.
