  1. Delivery Estimate Updates Are Out! ⏱️ [as of Jan 31, 2022]

Same delayed dates here. Emails says due to building a new SC near me. there is already one 35 miles from me now. Oh well
  2. Anyone pass power wire through Firewall yet?

I will be doing the same with some AL Priority parking sensors…so report back on what you find (dont have my truck yet).
  3. California SOLD: For Sale: 21" OEM Wheels & Tires

The range hit on the 22s vs 21s is pretty small (compared to the hit for the 20s). If you plan on powder coating the 21s and running without the hub caps, you may see the same hit as the 22s. I think the covers are what help with the extra aero effect to reduce drag for the mileage boost. The...
  4. Official email from Rivian offering Binding Purchase Agreement

Do you have a pop up blocker? It should open a new page and let you download a wet sign PDF
  5. Leave the truck on the charger for 3 weeks or not?

I do with my Tesla.. just set the charge limit to 50% or so… that way it doesnt drain too low.
  6. No Drill License Plate - Snap Plate by EveryAmp

This is exactly my approach with my snap plate on my Tesla. Best of both worlds
  7. Worst fears came true. My R1T died at a light. Update today(8/18)

I am surprised that you have to ping your Guide all the time for updates and hope he replies. The guide should be giving you constant updates w/o the need for you to inquire all the time.. I would expect him/her to give you (at a minimum) a daily update. Passive help is not ideal in this situation.
  8. what am i doing wrong on air compressor???

I think he is trying to get the water off the car (dry it) not out of the hose.
  9. Radar Detector hardwire, who has done it?

60% on the main pack would be an odd point to stop charging the 12v battery. I can see 20% or something…but 60 is silly if correct.
  10. Radar Detector hardwire, who has done it?

Yes, I understand that accessories run off of the 12v battery. But the 12v battery is recharged by the Main battery pack. My experience is based on a Tesla as I dont have my Rivian yet…but assume all do the same (charge 12v from the main battery pack).
  11. Radar Detector hardwire, who has done it?

You have a giant 135kw battery that can run the dashcam for like 10 years before draining. Lol I had my dashcam running 24x7 in my Tesla, never an issue. The cameras uses very little power and the few minutes that it stays on until the truck goes to sleep is nothing.
  12. Don't hate me cause I'm an Idiot.

You could have also switched your R1S order to a R1T and kept your place in line for a delivery later this year.
  13. First Mile Events linked to delivery timeline?

I asked my First Mile driver if there is a correlation.. he said, nope. Just based on the location and timing of FMD cars in the area.
  14. No Drill License Plate - Snap Plate by EveryAmp

Yep, sorry I misread that. I would rather have the "snap on" then the vinyl stick on plate anyway. I also think WA is trying to pass some law saying that you cant get pulled over for minor things like plates. That would be nice, as I dont run the front plate on my Model S, I just have the...
  15. No Drill License Plate - Snap Plate by EveryAmp

This is not a Non Standard plate, it is a plate mounting system (the frame you mount your standard WA plate to). No issues using these in WA or any other state…
  16. No Drill License Plate - Snap Plate by EveryAmp

I have the same Snap Plate on my Tesla Model S... great products and great company.
  17. Any 2021 R1S reservations in the house?

I have a Nov 21 Preorder for an RIT but am going to switch it to an RIS this month… I think I read that if you switch, you keep your place in line (ie Nov 21 place in the R1S line now). Is there an advantage to switching sooner then later? I was holding off until they update the R1T schedule...
