I am, actually.
Once again, the bare minimum software features have been known for almost a decade because Tesla did the heavy lifting on what consumers wanted. And @VSG put it simply that voice control parity should be analogous to what's available on the touch screen. So I'm not buying the...
I think that's a fair rebuttal. But I'll respond that I think wipers, mirrors, dash cam are specific things that would really help to cut down on driver distraction. I would throw fogs and the LED go around lights in there as well. I actually think that changing drive modes by voice is a larger...
I'll refer you to @VSG's post above:
"Anything that can be done on the touchscreen should be a voice command as a baseline"

I just asked it what SolarEdge replacement part I can use for a p505 optimizer that's been damaged by squirrels. It actually gave the correct answer that an s500b or p5** optimizer is compatible. But I'm more impressed it didn't give the incorrect answer that other LLMs give, and that is the...
Playing around with the VA for about 10 min and here are some findings:
Voice control will not fold the mirrors, it can't control the windows, can't toggle the hazard lights, can't activate windshield wipers, can't do anything with the headlights or turn signals, can't save dash cam footage...
Welp, yet another disappointment. Voice control will not fold the mirrors.
Edit: Also can't control the windows, can't toggle the hazard lights, can't activate windshield wipers, can't do anything with the headlights or turn signals, can't save dash can footage, can't restore seat position...
Haha, open differential was even more contentious than original car-play back in the day.
Stop trying to make differentials a thing. No one is going to be happy.
So tell me how software would fix that again? They definitely mean "we accidently disabled charging due to an overzealous analysis of continuity on the charge harness".
I doubt it. The error presents exactly when water ingress behind the charge port connector where the harness starts.
And how would the charge port "stick" after having water get around there? It's not a suction issue. It literally started happening after a software update. And I can reproduce...
We'll that's some understated BS:
"Fixed rare charge port door sticking after water ingress"
The door wasn't sticking. The car straight up disabled it so you couldn't charge.
I'm going to chime in again. Just did 700 miles with eyes-on. No chance in hell this is worth either the one-time or the monthly. Haptic parenting for no charge is good enough. I mean, it's the same system/redundancies/"quality", far less nag, especially when punching in an address and...
I don't think that's too far to be honest. I'm pushing 2 Tesla HPWC and their runs are 60 and 75ft respectively. Both have 6-3 with the longer run going on 12 years or so.
You can always run the 4 gauge to a disconnect or sub panel right before the charger and then drop to 6-2 at the breaker or...
