How would the clamp size be the issue? They are making a tent to clamp on these racks...and the cross bars aren't that much wider than the Yakima Aero bars from what I can tell.
It seems you don't really understand Android Automotive. It functions just the same on an iPhone. They are only filtering out people who don't understand this.
As long as you know the half way point you'll be fine. If you get to 50% SOC before then, turn around. I'm guessing you'll end up with 50-80 miles of range left.
, This color is a chameleon. Every time I think I'm sure of my decision, another picture throws it into doubt. Going to need to see it in person I guess. Hoping the Venice Hub gets a Limestone R1S...
Which iKamper are you going with? I'm concerned the skycamp mini ladder will conflict with the camp kitchen. It seems you can't get one that opens to the driver's side...
Disappointing that Rivian would allow these to be restricted such that Rivian owners can't use them without paying $300 for a fancy tent. Not exactly "adventurous" imo.
Why did they not use Google Maps for their data like Tesla did? It's clearly the most complete and up to date. Polestar did a great job with Android Automotive. Google maps it's accurate range estimation and route planning that worked flawlessly in my experience.
This DSLR photo is a GREAT representation of what I recall seeing. Of course, it's the same truck parked in the same spot when I saw it 2 days ago. But, on the computer screen it looks just like what I saw in person.
On overcast days, or in the evening this is a winner!
