I'm not sure on the loaner question in SoCal, but in Denver, I did not ask ahead of time, but they had a R1S Gen 1 loaner ready and waiting for me when my R1S was in for service for multiple days. It was pretty seamless.
I'm driving a loaner RIS right now, and that has come up once or twice. Doesn't seem to last. I was wondering if it comes up when wireless/cell service is limited?
Also, for what it is worth, Rivian call service (Rick from Minnesota) and the Denver Service Center have been very professional and helpful throughout. Matches my continued experience with the Denver Service Center as a well-run outfit.
This happened three times in three days last week. Multiple alarms, then turtle mode and regen disabled. Still drivable, slowly, and a hard reset cleared it each time for roughly a day. (See video). It is in the service center. R1S has been flawless (with the exception of some very minor...
Those of us in Colorado would dominate most of those stats. I routinely will hit 50+ miles at 4.01 or higher on the way home from skiing/hiking, and there are so many fun 11,000 foot passes to climb in the summer that it is fairly often an achievement. Not sure if you all in Oklahoma could keep...
the Atomic Wheels were mail order/front door delivery: https://atomic-wheels.com/collections/for-rivian-r1t-r1s?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjw1Yy5BhD-ARIsAI0RbXat2XjbV7BKLjzAvlEFGLqnJjbeNpq6JDZkfYlzIM30w_grta7zOJwaAuLEEALw_wcB&tw_adid=700864039378&tw_campaign=21340730128&tw_source=google
While I see your point, NY_Rob, one option allowed me to take advantage of the full $7500 tax break (kept me under $80,000), while the others did not. The Atomic Wheels 20" plus the Goodyear Wranglers were way less than the tax savings.
The only non-Pirelli 21s for Rivian are : MichelinDefender LTX M/S2275 /55 R21 116H XL BSW
They are all season, as well. After wearing out my Pirellis at 20,000 miles, I bought some 20" wheels from Atomic Wheels and I am now on the Goodyear Wrangler Territory made for Rivian...
I'm 23,000 miles in on a 2023 R1S Quad. I currently have the Goodyear Wrangler ATs that are Rivian specific. In the year and 1/2 I have owned the RIS, I have been to the service center once to adjust a few panel alignments, and I have a mobile service appointment this week because the heated...
I did the switch to Atomic Wheels AW10s and Goodyear Wrangler (Riv specific) tires. Efficiency has been roughly the same with those tires and wheels. only had the Wranglers on for 1500 miles, though.
Press the little rivian icon on the upper left corner of big screen; it will pull up a side window with options. At the center is an icon for overhead lights. click it, and the overheads will shut off immediately.
