Its is a hell of a drive, and I highly recommend. Just don't be an idiot and do it in the 21s, unless you like to see large chunks of tread get cut out by sharp rocks. Here are some more photos:

Compact spare and jack fit right underneath where the speakers are shown. There is a holder above them that has been removed that holds your air compressor hose and your emergency kit (for those of us who actually do go off road ...).

Could not agree more about the sound system. I have loved it. Of course, my 2005 Highlander Hybrid that I had before the R1S still had a tape deck, so the bar may have been set low...
Opnwide, what did you use to affix the plate holder? did you end up drilling holes into the bumper? I am using a BiltRite tow hook holder, but had to bend the plate to get around the radar.
I, too, have got to wonder what drive mode you were in. It had to be sport, which is good for launching, but tough everywhere else. You might retry it in all purpose soft ride. Or take it over a mountain pass with lots of rocks and edges. Your opinion will likely change.
