No tint. I use the "vent windows" option without issues, but don't roll the rear windows down all the way with these in. No scratches so far (it is soft plastic vs. glass)
This brand has simple plastic right angle inserts. I just inserted them between the window and the inner window seal. I agree they were tricky to get in the first time. But now they go in pretty easily. I think adding a VERY LIGHT coat of spray silicon lube on these would make it easier and...
