  1. Twice now.....

Ugh - tough start. I bet both issues are the 12v battery and replacing it will get you back on track for a few years.
  2. Tapping out as well, goodbye Rivian...

Best thing I have seen in this thread. Inverter is part of the box? Edit - nope. Vehicle has to have support for this. https://www.motortrend.com/how-to/2024-jeep-wrangler-4xe-power-box-deep-dive-review/ Can It Be Retrofitted? No. Power Box operation requires a unique inverter in the vehicle...
  3. Dual Motor Noise

What app did you use for this?
  4. R2 Rivian @ NYC Event (9/24/24) - videos & pics

Did I miss the memo? Thought Rivian would be in NYC Oct 11-13 per this information https://riviantrackr.com/news/rivian-hits-the-road-with-r2-cities-and-dates-announced/ Already have hotel reservations for this weekend in NYC... Is the above just the R2 event? No R3/X?
  5. Headlights - Automatic / Manual Mode Switching - undocumented "feature"

Yeah I found this “by accident “ but now understand it and it works well. Auto is almost always best until slow speeds where it gos with low beams..
  6. 1,500 Mile towing roadtrip, detailed writeup. Luck was on our side!

Excellent detailed report and looks like a good time! Thanks for posting.
  7. Random Rivian Photos of the Day - Post Yours! 📸

The picture strength is strong here. I'll try to contribute but don't have any soaring national park vistas as backdrops just yet. Here are some "new friends" in the driveway...

Good luck with the escalation. You're certainly more than entitled to be made whole here.
  10. Maverick Softopper Bed Cap Install

  11. Little bump with rear bumper, Lotta grief (updated w/ letter submitted to Rivian)

Very strange indeed. While the hit looks incredibly minor, it might have been a fair amount of force, but was it more than the 5MPH federal standard for no structural damage? IDK. It is puzzling that a major wiring harness would be this close to an impact point, if that is what the actual...
  12. 2024.31.01

You can’‘t just hire someone from another company and ”boom - feature parity“. Unless you are on the same core platform and they bring along (steal) all the source code from their previous employer - setting up a quick lawsuit that their new employer will definitely lose fast. Feature...
  13. Attention R1T Dog Owners: I May Have Created the Perfect Dog Set-Up for the Back Seat (with caveats)

No tint. I use the "vent windows" option without issues, but don't roll the rear windows down all the way with these in. No scratches so far (it is soft plastic vs. glass)
  14. Attention R1T Dog Owners: I May Have Created the Perfect Dog Set-Up for the Back Seat (with caveats)

This brand has simple plastic right angle inserts. I just inserted them between the window and the inner window seal. I agree they were tricky to get in the first time. But now they go in pretty easily. I think adding a VERY LIGHT coat of spray silicon lube on these would make it easier and...
