I was part of the botched update and was running the fixed patch .2. I got the notice to install last night and did the install around 10:30. On the drive to work today everything was functioning correctly as far as I could tell.

It's much better to take the system off auto and set the temperature that you want the air, manually controlling the fan speed. This is a bit old school, but it works. I can dial it in much closer this way in the winter. In the summertime, I set it at 70 and forget it.

My truck is laggy when switching between screens as well. It often changes parts of the screen and within a second or two - sometimes three - completes the transition to the new graphic. This is most noticeable when the truck changes from day to night display. Edited to add a comment about...

Yes, sorry for the delay in response, but I have a Meross garage door opener connected to my home network, Alexa interfaces with that and triggers the open/ close as an Alexa skill. Meross Garage Door Opener Edited to include the product link

Alexa is working fine after the update for me after the update fix. I used it to request songs from Tidal, open the garage door, and open the charge door. All with no problems.

I think all is back to normal with my truck - even got a follow-up call from Rivian to confirm.

I have the spare car to drive, maybe that will give them time to implement a solution. I hope everyone who’s immobilized, finds a good workaround for tomorrow. I’m really regretting naming the truck “Electric Mayhem” at this point.
