Was told a long time ago that on non-max pack that the rear seats will fold up and would have some storage. On max pack they were going to use that space for extra batteries.

The 180 tailgate with a step integrated was a nice solution. When that got taken away paired with the already narrow bumper, to enable 180 drop, it basically made it impossible to access the bed from the rear with the tailgate up or down. Design change should also have added a step on the bumper.

Heard the same when I reached out several days ago in that if you want to get in and out of the bed to use the gear tunnel but the seems sub optimal for loading/unloading. Also, I have kids that would have to go head first into the bed from the gear tunnel to get over the side. Seems like a cut...
