Do you have any more feedback after having the chance see how it has changed? I still haven’t been able to to get mine in to have it looked at yet. But, I’m scheduled for August 8th to drop it off for this and a few other items.

Seems to have been working for me over the last 10 years, on all of the vehicles I’ve owned with no issues of uneven tread wear. But, I’ll keep the method you’ve described in mind as another tool to use.

I’ll add using an IR temp gun to read temperatures across the tread of all four tires as another method as well.

I agree, nothing is for free. Insurance companies aren’t in business to lose money.

This is the very reason why, I never turn the wheel when the vehicle is not moving. Just a lot of load put on the linkages.

I’m like you, where I have a Gen 2 R1S and a Gen 1 R1T. I like the Gen 2 so much more over the Gen 1, that I’m ready to dump it off when the time comes. Nothing about the Gen 1, keeps me from doing so. My opinion only.
