  1. Real range experience for R1S/R1T Tri with 22" wheels?

I picked up a Tri-motor R1S on 12/20/25 and drove home 300 miles and managed 2.21 mi/kwh going 75 in conserve mode on the freeway. Temperature was around 36F most of the day, and I had the heated steering wheel on, heated seat at the lowest setting, and cabin temperature set at 74 the whole way...
  2. Gen 2 Premium Audio and Apple Music: Turn OFF Sound Check. So much better sound!

FYI, I have a Gen 2 Tri with premium too and have to set the balance and fade in the same spot as you did. I decided to check the volume using pink noise for the left and right channels front and rear each at a time. I found out that, the right channels were about 3db higher than the left...
  3. Rain and Camera Lens

Other than what’s been mentioned, Gen 2 R1S comes with front and rear camera washers. ?
  4. New to EVs and unsure which brand of home L2 charger to go with

That’s what I used, to make an educated purchase on the wall charger and the adapters I needed when I’m using Tesla superchargers and destination chargers.
  5. 2025 Rivian R1T is Edmunds Top Rated Electric Truck 2025

Agreed! However, I bought a Rivian even though I hadn’t seen or driven one in person. ;) I rolled the dice on it. Ha ha
  6. 2025 Rivian R1T is Edmunds Top Rated Electric Truck 2025

I did the same and compared other brands including the Ram Rev. Ultimately, Rivian was my first choice and why I have one, considering what’s available in the market when I purchased. Question is, anyone have thoughts about the upcoming Scout? I’ve been looking at it lately and it’s becoming...
  7. Garage Door Opener has gotten "lazy"

I noticed this as well with the gate entrance. I thought the HOA may have changed something, since it used to work quite a distance away with just a one click press. Now, it doesn’t and I’ll have to try the long press to see how that works.
  8. Gen2 Key Fob first impressions

Mine's been in the nightstand since I brought it home. I never use it and just carry the keycard for a back up as well. It's a nice paperweight currently as far as I'm concerned.
  9. Any plans for a Spokane/CdA Service Center?

I’m watching this thread to see if there’s any news. Because, I’m in the same boat as you in terms of owning, but not at the end of the warranty period yet. I’ve been mentioning this every time I have a chance to tell someone that it would make sense to have an SC in this area, to cover a...
  10. Update not supported on 5GHz WiFi?

Um, I’m aware of the fact that 2.4 GHz reaches further. Point is, the subject header is talking about update not being supported by 5Ghz WiFi which isn’t true and not about having Connect+ or not and the delay of the update. Regardless, update works with 5Ghz WiFi, whether it’s delayed or not.
  11. Factory fly-thru video

Wow!! Who cares about the lines. LOL It’s about functionality. What do I know. I’d rather have that ability so my wipers don’t freeze up for example. But, whatever. To each their own I guess.
  12. Update not supported on 5GHz WiFi?

Interesting. I have 5Ghz that reaches all the way out to the end of my driveway. Again this is dependent on where your source is. But, it’s at least 50’ away from the source for me. I don’t have Connect+, and I’m still able to use 5Ghz for connectivity. It’s been that way since day one of...
  13. Factory fly-thru video

Oh ok. Although, it would be awesome to have that feature. My opinion anyway
  14. Factory fly-thru video

Thanks for sharing and cool to see the process, since I don’t believe I’ll ever have the opportunity to see it in person. Here’s something interesting I spotted in the video. The windshield is supposedly electrically heated. Didn’t know that and am curious how that’s activated? Maybe under...
  15. Update not supported on 5GHz WiFi?

I have mine connected to 5Ghz WiFi at home since day one of ownership, and I’ve been able to get all of my updates.
  16. One Month Anniversary with my TriMax. I have a few thoughts

Yes, I must've been as I also had an issue that took out my ADAS system 6 weeks after ownership and it took another 6 weeks for them to fix the problem. I went without a cruise control for that entire time. The problem was, the body harness had multiple areas of wire breakage/ damage. So, it...
  17. Study: Less than 1% of EV owners would return to full gas-powered vehicles

We are currently one step closer to becoming fully electrified. Don't regret it all, as I'm a DYI'er and don't miss having to change the oil, transmission, transfer case, and differential fluids anymore. I don't miss the days of when my other half tells me that she needs the oil changed in her...
  18. One Month Anniversary with my TriMax. I have a few thoughts

Nope, I have a 2024 VIN 30xxx which I picked up last June. That's awesome to hear. Regardless of what configuration, I love the Gen 2 over the Gen 1 Performance DM we have. It's not about the drive motors, it's the vehicle itself and the build quality. In my opinion based off of what we...
  19. One Month Anniversary with my TriMax. I have a few thoughts

Wow!! That's impressive, because mine is definitely not that quiet. I'm not saying it's god awful but it's definitely noisier than the Gen 2 is overall. Gen 2 is as quiet if not quieter than the MDX Type S we had traded in for it. The Gen 1 I have is a 2024 VIN 30xxx. It was certainly, the...
  20. One Month Anniversary with my TriMax. I have a few thoughts

I have a 2024 Gen 1 Performance DM and have recently picked up a Gen 2 Tri-Motor. It's a night and day difference. So much so, I hate driving the Gen 1 because of how much better the Gen 2 is. It's more solidly built, the suspension doesn't make all of that noise like the Gen 1 does...
