Totally and I've thought about that.
Trade in value for my 4runner is $28k. Prices online are going for around $35k for similar and mine has more aftermarket upgrades.
Sales tax in TN on 80k is $5688. Minus a 28k trade in, taxes are $3728. So trading in saves me $1900 in taxes.

I also asked CS what the weight difference between the two wheels was, since that can also affect efficiency, they had no clue hah!
It'd be nice to know the efficiency hits of all the accessories, but I doubt that will happen.

Same boat. I was super happy to be in this window with a nov 2020 R1S preorder. With the lack of any real updates on the R1S I'm fairly certain I won't see it this year.
I was told by CS that while they are trying to get all preorder holders the chance to test drive, they might (hah) not get to everyone. SO they said I would have an option to delay my delivery until after Ive had a chance to drive one...

Hey we also need to start bugging them about cargo mats. I asked CS this morning and they said that they werent sure if the team had plans for that, but they would let me know if they became available. Seems like a fairly common thing to want/need.
