Yes. I had 2 SLK's and the hardtop with auto down was a snap. Had a Vette and a 914 Porsche with manual hardtops and too much bother. I'm showing my age. The 914 was purchased new.

They are nice but I've had two sports cars with removable tops. Never removed them often.

I just put in a 50 AMP 14-50 Nema charger outlet for my wife's bolt. I'm using the Clipper Creek 50 Amp box. I know the Bolt will only take 32 Amps and I felt the 40 Amps would be fine for the Rivian. I did hesitate on the 60 Amp. I can always change my breaker to 60 Amps. The 50 is with 6 gauge...

I am impressed with the ability of any manufacturer to make anything. The amount of detail necessary is mind boggling. With todays youth thinking they are owed everything and no interest in learning anything it will be a struggle for the future of manufacturing.

You are absolutely right in what you are saying. For me it is pure want and nothing else. The cost is in my budget more than the years I have left to wait for any type of break through. When I was a kid I thought the 80's and 90's would be something magical. Where did that go?

I received this statement direct from Rivian. R1T deliveries will begin June 2021. R1S deliveries will begin August 2021.

Thats why potential buyers should just wait until the production model and build is out instead of constantly crying for answers.
