I've found that I set my Seat temp more often than my HVAC.
Are there others that tend to tick the seat temp hot/vent more often than their global climate?
Could Rivian set a conditional "if outside temp is <> activate seat heater at 1/2/3" and "if outside is <> activate seat vent at 1/2/3"...
I have two of these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BN2PBJM5?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details coming Friday.
I think they will fit side by side in the Frunk, stack nicely in the R1S deck/bed, be the right size to handle solo without killing my L5 disk, and maybe even be sturdy enough to...
I haven't removed mine...bad weather, low Temps: many factors that would make efficiency numbers skewed. I'll keep it in mind when I get a decent week in the 50s and reset a trip odometer for a week.
Portland has a snap of bad weather (like many places right now).
I've got to take my electric snow blower and attack the snow tomorrow.
I've got two 550w chargers for the snowblower batteries and hope to cycle pairs as long as my body holds up pushing the blower.
I decided to bump up from...
Sorry, I find this hilarious. My brain can't let go of "I didn't know a Keurig could make waffles" ? I am planning some R1S camping when the weather improves, and the grill you used is interesting!
The test print finally arrived! It is glorious!
Two thoughts for all the people eager to see it:
1. This is a 3D print for shape and fit. It has no hose ports.
2. This was printed in 4 sections, joined, and painted with white primer so the part fit would be more visible in pictures. The...
Vroom, KBB, and Carmax were all in $17K-$18K, DriveWay was $25K, and I think in my area I can get $30K-32K given comparably low mileage @ 77K and the limited supply/high demand for the FJ in particular. Crossing fingers, but several others with more used auto experience have agreed with my...
Config confirmation email was 11/21
8 steps email 11/22, Guide contact was 11/22
took me a bit with trade in stuff, and photos for Registration
VIN appeared in app 11/23
Guide notified me about transpo later on 11/23 "3-5 week lead time until it arrives at the service center"
Then Guide updated...
Mine is ready for delivery as soon as Tuesday while I finish centralizing the funds since VIN>8 steps>transpo>arrival>ready were all DAYS apart! Not weeks.
(hands over $5 bill) you win that bet. I was up to 230am, but DID find it this morning, and I have a CarMax appt this afternoon.
Back on topic...
Was told on Monday my VIN arrived at the PDX service center. No pickup/delivery schedule yet but solving my 8 steps every day.
Jan-Feb 2023 delivery? = RIVIAN FAIL.
lol Early is fine for me, just had to up the pace of my process. I expect next week I should know when I can get it!
