  1. Next Batch of NACS Adapters Shipping to Rivian Owners!

Dk if it’s just anecdotal observation but seems like a lot of Ford owners are getting theirs. Kind of wild these are only getting out in batches of 1000?
  2. Next Batch of NACS Adapters Shipping to Rivian Owners!

Yeah I was hopeful too. Fingers crossed to get one by the time my 3 year lease is up lol.
  3. Next Batch of NACS Adapters Shipping to Rivian Owners!

Same happened to me on my 5/24 delivery. Ended up being registration materials and a temp plate.
  4. I Spent Two Days With Gen-2 R1 Vehicles. Here’s My Thoughts as a Rivian Owner...

Would you/someone mind elaborating on the pro’s of DM off road? I feel like I haven’t found or seen a basic breakdown on where a dual might be better than a quad (asking as a brand new dual owner that actually wheels).
  5. R1S as only vehicle for family: how cooked am I?

Yea looking like they submitted plans for one: https://cleantechnica.com/2024/02/26/rivians-adventure-network-to-serve-all-evs-expand-more-with-trailer-parking/amp/ hopefully it’ll be ready by the time I do this roadtrip again next year
  6. R1S as only vehicle for family: how cooked am I?

Hey thank you for putting this together. I had actually reviewed both sources but wasn’t clear on whether it might still be good to go for Rivian with an adapter. I guess the answer is no and I need to cancel my A2Z order. anecdotally looks like they’re building RAN charging in that area...
  7. R1S as only vehicle for family: how cooked am I?

Man, everyone is so nice on this forum. I was heavily cross-shopping the new GX/LC Prado and to an extent 6g 4Runner, following threads on Mud and everybody seems so grumpy over there lol. If anyone sees this and doesn’t mind taking the time, would you mind telling me if the rivian nav sees the...
  8. R1S as only vehicle for family: how cooked am I?

Good info ty. I’m in a large city but hoping to drive our new truck to the four corners area, looks like there’s RAN charging en route and should have a Tesla adapter before we head out. Feeling pretty confident about it but wondering if range under load, mountain passes will be dramatically...
  9. R1S as only vehicle for family: how cooked am I?

Seems the answer is no based on this forum lol
  10. R1S as only vehicle for family: how cooked am I?

That was my rationale as well. Fortunately have family v close by if we needed a vehicle if push absolutely came to shove. I guess the slight fear I was trying to express with this thread was whether I should be expecting to have our truck at the service center an exorbitantly greater amount...
  11. R1S as only vehicle for family: how cooked am I?

Helpful info I was interested in hearing, was curious about the protocols on this.
  12. R1S as only vehicle for family: how cooked am I?

Yep already squared away there, pretty literate on charging etc
  13. R1S as only vehicle for family: how cooked am I?

Hey all, occurred to me that I could condense my 5th gen 4Runner and Tesla Model 3 Performance into one vehicle in the R1S. I wfh, wife stays home, 90% of our driving is within a 10 mile radius with odd road trips that will require charging 1-2x/year. I do love to wheel and camp, so planning on...
  14. Should I just put the $1000 down on the site?

I’m trippin y’all, they called me and got me into a spec I was looking for. Anecdotally all terrain packages are tough to come by it seems, but so far so smooth. Appreciate the input and looking forward to joining here after watching this company well before its IPO
  15. Should I just put the $1000 down on the site?

Hey all, looking forward to hopefully leasing an R1S here soon. Did a test drive, expressed interest in a lease, provided desired configuration in person, was told I’d hear something from sales next day. Going on three days now with no contact from Rivian. I guess what I’m asking is whether...
