Anyone else get excited to see an email from Rivian today only to be disappointed to see it be a Rivian Service Center in Action note? Ugh, I was so deflated!
Do EV cars function the same as regular electronics where a 2 amp device will work on a 20 amp receptacle.? Can you charge a car that is optimal at 30-32 amp with a Rivian wall charger set at 48 amps? I'm guessing the car only draws what it needs and can handle it but not 100% sure.
Thanks,
On the Rivian phone app (Iphone) I open the charging icon at the bottom center and it shows me a map of charging locations in my area. My question is why do the Electrify American locations show as out of network? What does that mean?
I hope this hasn't been asked already but how is first guide contact made (phone or email)? I get so many spam calls that I don't answer the phone unless it's someone I recognize.
Thanks for the replies and yes definitely referring to the RIT. I know people want the range but silence in general on both supply and demand sides leaves me wondering.
No pictures but I saw three of them today in SoCal. An El Cap heading south on the 5 merging onto the 55. A Rivian Blue on a flat bed heading west on the 22 and finally a Launch Green in a shopping center in north east Anaheim. All in the first half of the day.
The rep and I were clearly talking about Non LE orders when I respond to Line #31 above in line #34.
Sorry but I can't figure out how to quote in this forum. :crying:
