Rivian contacted me out of the blue. I suspect that they are trying to stay ahead of things now that they're aware of the 12v problem. I have a 2022 R1T...it is one of the ones that had TWO 12v batteries instead of just one. I think they made the change to one battery sometime early in 2023.

I've also got a 3A battery tender with an OBD connector. My question is.......since my R1T has two 12v batteries, will plugging in the battery tender keep BOTH 12v batteries happy and charged OR will it only keep ONE of the two batteries happy???

This is the perfect setup (at least for me) for a solo on the fly Rivian camping trip. You unroll it, insert three blind man poles and the tensioner rod (if desired....highly recommend it. If you don't want to use the rods...just use the ropes that come with the tent) and you're set up to camp...

Do you have video from your truck??? I know if you hit something, or even jam on the brakes, the truck will save a clip of about 30 seconds or so leading up to the event...At least my R1T does. I'd be really interested in seeing the video from your truck. That would show things in real time...

I'm in the same situation. I contacted A2Z yesterday via email to see if I was covered by this program even though I wasn't the original purchaser.......I'm still waiting to hear back from them. I'll let you know what they say.
