  1. NACS Adapter reservation emails are now going out!!!!

I have a low VIN, 26XX, and got the email that the adapter was ready to ship on 6/11 with the link to verify shipping address. Received the adapter on 6/21.
  2. Route suggestions for towing through PA

My trip to NJ won't be rescheduled - it was for the annual Shelby Club convention which is being held this week at NJ Motorsports Park. Next year it will be at Sonoma Raceway, but I won't be trailering all the way out there!
  3. Route suggestions for towing through PA

Between the forecast of rain in OH, PA, and NJ for Tuesday/Wednesday (most of our route) and more rain for Thursday at the track in NJ, coupled with a couple of family issues, we decided to cancel on Monday. More risk of damage to the car fresh off a 3 year restoration on an open trailer than I...
  4. Michigan ORV routes, Rivian group trip

Have fun on your adventure! I've not done any off roading for several decades, but sure would have liked to have had a vehicle as capable as my R1T back then! Nevertheless, I will be on a Corvette Club event in Leelanau County that day so can't even stop over to meet with some fellow R1...
  5. Route suggestions for towing through PA

That works pretty well as long as I do each segment individually. Thanks! Something else to obsess over for the next few days... :)
  6. Route suggestions for towing through PA

Wow! That is super helpful - thanks! Care to share the trick on how you created that elevation chart? I'd love to do one for each one of my segments...
  7. Route suggestions for towing through PA

After looking at a lot of this route on StreetView, I think we will try Rte 30 to Rte 41 S to Rte 7 which looks like the most direct route to Christiana, plus it is multilane for much of that route. I'm thinking that I may be able to do a straight shot from State College to Christiana, but I'm...
  8. Route suggestions for towing through PA

Close - but mine has a black interior... :)
  9. Route suggestions for towing through PA

I'm not considering suggestions from ChatGPT as reasonable, or viable, for those and other reasons.
  10. Route suggestions for towing through PA

Starting from NW MI. First two stops are at RANs with trailer lanes (Grayling and Saginaw).
  11. Update 2024_19.06

That's strange - before I posted this I clicked on WHATS NEW and there were no threads showing up about it. I guess I need to actually search rather than rely on WHATS NEW...
  12. Update 2024_19.06

It installed successfully in about 30 minutes. I've never seen one show up before I read about it on the forum - perhaps it was only pushed out to a few of us...
  13. Update 2024_19.06

Just got notification of this update - have not seen any post about the _06 version. Anyone install it yet?
  14. Route suggestions for towing through PA

Clarion is on our charge list for that very reason!
  15. Route suggestions for towing through PA

All the RANs I've gone to or looked at had trailer lanes so they are always my first choice. I considered the 'southern route' through PA using RANs at Breezewood, Hagerstown and Belcamp, but the tolls on 76 for a twin axle trailer are insane - plus it's a bit longer and I'd have to deal with...
  16. Route suggestions for towing through PA

I assume the college should be quiet in Mid-July. My son used to live in Ann Arbor, so I know how crazy college towns are when classes are in session. 896 to DE-273 looks pretty doable. Thanks for all the suggestions!
  17. Route suggestions for towing through PA

Thanks for the observations about those sites - Streetview and photos in Plugshare don't tell the whole story... :) Appreciate the L2 offer, but time spent charging is a significant factor to if we have to unhitch to charge that's what we'll do! Not sure when we will be rolling through -...
  18. Route suggestions for towing through PA

That is exactly what I'm thinking. Prepared to unhitch, but hoping not to. Fortunately, I've been able to build a route with 5 RANs on it, but that stretch through PA does not.
  19. Route suggestions for towing through PA

I was thinking about getting down to 272 and taking that to I95, then up to Christiana. Looks like 896 crosses 272 in Russellville. I was leery of taking 896 through Newark due to traffic concerns - pulling a car trailer I'm trying to avoid larger cities. What is 896 like through Newark...
