I sometimes charge my R1T with Tesla Universal Charger/adapter and haven’t had any issues. It works well switching between Model Y (NACS) and R1T (J1772). I have it mounted near the passenger rear wheel and reaches each vehicle’s charging port easily.
I’m using a fuse tap, not AXM and have recently been getting an urgent “restart vehicle” error from my Comma 3x. Coincided with Rivian software update. Since Sunnypilot seems to update silently, I don't know if there was a corresponding update.
It wasn’t available to re-add before delivery in 2023. Sadly no, not $500 but $3500 or whatever.
Was trying to say it was a retrofit, being the first and only install; I never had v1 or v1.5.
Got an abrupt disengagement and “restart vehicle” alert on the freeway yesterday. Comma 3x, Sunnypilot.
Anyone else seem this? Didn’t see anything on the drivers screen at the time. Reminded me of the ACC abrupt disengagement.
I tried an AI chat bot too but the results and back and forth were meh. Looking for real world examples. The frunk is an odd shape.
Isn't that what this forum is about, sharing hacks about how we personalize our vehicles…. and complaining ;)
Was packing the truck for a short trip the other day. I finally had my PTC installed a few months ago. I have a (100qt?) Coleman Xtreme cooler that’s 20+ years old. Prior to the PTC I had a soft tonneau cover. The cooler fit under it but the PTC is ~2-3” lower than the soft tonneau cover. The...
Is your serial number not included in the range?
My experience is similar to yours for my 2023 R1T Quad. I bought a soft tonneau cover in the meal time. But I did have the new version finally installed a few months ago and it is working well.
Note at one point a rep told me my truck wasn’t...
Keep on eye on the for sale threads in this forum. People frequently buy new tires and sell lightly used ones. I’ve bought 2 wheels with tires so far for less than one new tire alone.
I’d buy the 21” since you’ll likely put way more miles on the 21” wheels. My 2¢. You’ll be good with either likely.
I’ve seen the same thing in the vehicle where it was ever increasing. I eventually just stopped the charge or I’d still be there.
Something goes wrong with the calculation.
I had the exact same thing happen installing my GOAT Step Sliders last year. It was the rearmost on the passenger side that gave me fits.
I ended up having to chase the threads and was able to get it to finally seat and torque them all.
I really wish you could attach this when it is in the 2 o’clock position, pointing toward the tailgate, instead of having to rotate it all the way back to the 10 o’clock position, pointing toward the cab. Would be nice if the brackets were reversible to allow this.
