I used it last summer when our truck was rear ended on I25 in Denver. The truck was totaled but kept us safe. The person on the other end helped us get a tow truck.

^^^ THIS ^^^ Just be sure to clean the area with isopropyl alcohol or it’ll come loose easily. The 3M tape isn’t a perfect fix but it’ll get you by until they can come by for repairs.

They do, but I highly suspect Carplay isn't long for the VW, Audi, Porsche, and Lamborghini's of this world. IMO, one reason they've supported Carplay is to overcome their infotainment center's weaknesses.
