Agreed! That story had multiple nuggets I had never seen before. At 5:10 they were discussing the R1 platform, camp kitchen and showed a bunch of potential accessories like a "water module" and a "cooler module" that I bet people would love if they sold them...

It’s an interesting idea. I’m no lawyer, but I feel like in that situation Rivian might not be able to escape liability (for repairs and worse) even with a waiver. I say that mostly because an owner who signed it could claim (right or wrong) they didn’t understand the risks when they signed off...
