Yeah it's weird that in the shop my home charger still shows up as an add on if I click on a truck, but not the manual tonneau. You'd think they could easily fix that.

Unless they're making a big change they're likely still not US sourced (Samsung cells) so still no credit. Samsung is building a new battery factory in Indiana but that'll probably be a couple years out and still don't know if Rivian will use those.

Make sure the wiring is adequate for whatever loads you're putting on this. A lot of these adapters have pretty small cheap wires.

It's a small anecdote but I noticed in mkbhd's R1S review he points out how the R1T had Meridian audio which he liked, but the R1S doesn't have that (I assume it's the new version) and he says it sounds way way better. (!) Looking forward to any further comparisons.

They look really nice. The "bronze" goes well with the forest green, plus the yellow brake highlights, a great touch. I'll probably be switching my order from 22s to regular 21s for more range. But this is a great look if range isn't much of a concern.

Congrats! Appreciate your write-up of the whole experience. Glad it went so well. Your situation is very similar to mine (Max/Explore) but I have thus far held on, unsure if I'm going to stick with Max and go Dual, or not. I will wait at least until the many times delayed now "April" delivery...
