Reminds me of the mall parking lots during Christmas season. When people would 'block off a spot' by physically standing in the spot. The typical move is to stand in the spot on your phone calling while facing away from the vehicles trying to park.
Most of the time this never ends well. Lot...
We have had this same experience while trying to use Driver+. Lesson learned not to use that feature when driving next to cement barriers. Had issues along 80E in the Fairfield area and Sacramento portions where barriers were installed during construction. The truck gets you a little 'too...
Personally what I find with automotive forums is that they were made as a means for people to find solutions to problems or issues they have with their vehicles. So inherently the information you will find are mostly 'negative'. Most of the posts in automotive forums are pleas for help or...
The most cost effective route I found in the "bay area' was at a shop in Pittsburgh. I had my truck done there. Had the full truck wrapped with PPF in the 3M Matte product, PPF cermaic coat applied on top of the PPF, and had all the windows (including the roof) tinted with a ceramic tint...
Thank you for hosting the giveaway! It's definitely a great way to keep the forums active and everyone involved. Personally, I'm enjoying the BestEvMod Center Console Organizer Tray,
Center Console Organizer Tray with Large Capacity Drink Cup Holder, and Truck Bed Mat Liner. All great products!
Could the software update be a result of this incicent? https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/threads/electrify-america-burns-a-rivian-down.15820/
There hasn't been any updates regarding the incident.
While I also got the email to confirm your configuration, I did not get a delivery date. When we purchased our R1T, the date was set before I started the purchase.
I was curious if this was a change in the process. I always thought that they needed a delivery date to complete the process.
Curious if any thought was made by Rivian to make a RWD/Conserve mode? Could double as a "street drift" mode or would it become the "widow maker" mode?
Something along the lines of the tailgate being place down... I was just curious what happens to the tailgate when you go over any 'bumps' in the road, does that thing just bounce up and down? Is there a way to lock it down other then with the actual load that may force to keep the tailgate open?
From my persepective, the experience will vary with the different guides. When purchasing our R1T, I had 2 guides during the process. I was passed from one to another during the purchasing process. It actually worked to my benefit as the latter guilde was much helpful and proactive. However...
Another @Bf3 home design tonneau cover completed. All done under $800 using the Home Depot boards and the Interrobang store UHMW slide pieces. “Kid tested and mother approved.” The little one got on top to check the strength. Held all 55lbs of her. Such a simple yet elegant design that appears...
Usually the frame of the vehicle is what limits the tow rating. The power of the trucks usually exceed the frame limits. Hence why you see videos of tow vehicles ripping themselves apart or bending in half. Engine is fine but your truck is not.
I'm in CA and am expecting delivery of my R1S. Currently spec'd for Forrest Green with Forrest Edge. PM me if you are interested. Wife and I are contemplating having 2 Rivians at the moment.
This is the actual video that sold me on the product.
It's my little one who stuggles getting in and out of the back that will be the most excited to have this put on her favorite truck.
I was curious if any of you experience excessive 'vibration' on top of the noise. It feels as if the noise reverberates through the accelerator/throttle pedal. It is rather annoying to have to deal with all that noise. Embarrasing when you have guests in the vehicle wondering what that racket...
