I can CLOSELY relate a lot to this. My first car was a 92 Acura Integra and that had frameless windows that didn't leak. Coincidentally, I do the same with my 2001 Porsche 996 turbo and I've never had an issue with water leaking into that frameless window. In fact, I washed the two one right...
That's awesome. I didn't think that they would sell a certificate without you purchasing the tires from them. Do you know the terms of the certificate in regards to the life of the tire? Is it based on tread depth and/or time?
I brought my R1T into the service center for a few items and one of the issues I wanted them to address was a water leak on the passenger side window. I explained to the service technician that I noticed that I had water entering the cabin through the passenger side window. The small water...
I agree. I think someone else pointed out how other manufacturers deal with this area of the car. Most place a drip rail moulding trim to cover up this area. I think they just failed to 'cover up this seam as other manufacturers do.
Update on my issue, the truck has been in the shop for 1...
I was always curious as to how secure the tailgate stays in place when driving with it in the open position. Does the tailgate bounce around when you hit bumps in the road? Does that increase the probability of the hinge failing? Is there a way to lock it in the full open position to make it...
Update on my end. I brought my truck into the service center to address my issue. The plan is similar to yours where they will be brining it to a body shop to address the paint issue(s) I didn't realize how involved the repair is! They quoted me 4 weeks for the repair.
How much would the total be to have these shipped to CA? Is it still $160 as will inclusive of packaging?
Is it safe to assume that the wheels are in good shape with no rashes?
Lastly, does Rivian have to 'program' the vehicle to know that you went from 21" to 20" wheels? I'm trying to...
Ours sqeaks and creaks when it adjusts itself when we enter/exit the vehicle. It's in for service and the service advisor made it sound like she knew what the issue was. She claims that the "parts need to be lubricated".
Could it be possible that Rivian builds cars in runs of a certain configuration to streamline their production processes? Hence why the lines move at different speeds?
Surely we can’t expect Rivian to have an exact timeline for each build. These units are not exactly a “custom spec” car that...
Glad to hear about the Rivian support. I'd echo the same comments about the people in customer service as well as the service techs who have supported me out of the Sacramento service center.
Please share the repaired photos. Curious to see what the repair solution is.
