Yikes, I assume you're referring to a Model 3. With the recent price drops I bet trade-in values took a major hit. I locked in a trade back in July, and I accepted Rivian's offer of $24,000 for my 2018 Model 3 LR with 55k miles.

Could be a week, could be 6+ weeks. Just depends if the vehicle is already in transit or at your service center, vs having to be shipped from Normal.

Yeah I received an email from my guide on 8/7 saying 2 weeks to Brooklyn, and then a text message from the SC on 8/12 saying the truck is on the way. Did your online status change, or receive the "Truck is leaving factory" email that people receive? My portal is still saying delivery...

Congrats on the R1S. I selected a shop vehicle on 7/26 same day as you and still do not have delivery date yet (was told vehicle in transit from factory). We are both Brooklyn, SC so maybe they are prioritizing "S" right now (I have a T).

How easy was it to access the wiring?

Submitted mine on a Friday (8/4), and loan was approved the following Tuesday (8/8), much faster than I anticipated. When I spoke with the lending department they said to expect about a week due to increased applications.

Someone on Reddit just posted that their R1S has been sitting at the Brooklyn center for close to a month waiting for final QA and delivery date scheduling. Yikes
