Yeah for me it's just common sense not to be the first batch in OTA updates for a vehicle. For a phone, sure no problem. For a 7000lb vehicle, I'm ok waiting a few extra days to make sure there are no major issues.

I'm not sure what you mean by all the apps, but one of the most popular app that folks use with EVs is PlugShare. They list the number of chargers and what plug types. The reviews left by people are also super useful when planning out an EV road trip.
