Hi, YMMV but this is what I worked with when I decided for myself.
1. Yes, the outlet cannot output as much as L2 charger hardwired into your panel. This also depends on the breaker it's connected to. 48 amps is the most L2 home chargers can do, and they need to be connected to a 60 amp...
Large battery with 21s was listed as up to 350. Your numbers seem like they are for 22s. I have ATs with a large and the battery number tops out at 306.
Since this is your first EV and it looked like it didn't meet your expectations despite using ABRP, I'm just going to ask if you adjusted the settings to ABRP. Definitely make sure the configuration of your vehicle (battery+motor+tires) reflect your configuration. Also change the speed to more...
Agreed on the miss for not enabling local lossless playback. That would be a great stopgap for us while they work on the other aspects of the vehicle.
I have a Plex server, but never really looked into PlexAmp. Thanks to your comment, I will look into it to stream my local files over BT.
Wow, that's either bad foresight or such a sinister way to bring money into their service departments. That's terrible man, I'm sorry you had to go through such an asinine thing.
My wife saw this a few years back (before we put a deposit down on the Rivian)and to my surprise she wanted one. I was reminded of the camping trips I used to take in a Westfalia when I was young and nostalgia begged me to get one. Then came the rumor that the the range on the Eurospec was up to...
I know that with the new update and folks are trying out Connect +, but out of curiosity do you have your vehicle connected to wifi? I wonder if disconnecting (yes i know it has a cellular connection) the vehicle from wifi, will put it into metering mode and thereby limiting it's online activities.
That and the wrist band key. They pivoted from, no supply to coming soon at Gear Shop and then Launch Edition only. I know they have them in stock, because they always ask me if I have a launch edition vehicle before saying no.
Yeah I think that's something with the Pixel specific phones. I daily a Sony Xperia phone and have no issues using it as PAAK. Even using an older Samsung Note 20 Ultra or Samsung Flip phone on occasion doesn't yield any issues.
It's disappointing, but I agree with this. I'm not claiming to be a sound engineer or an audiophile. I just like what I like. So, listening to a lot of the tracks on either my BT or my IEMs vs the Rivian Audio is disappointing. Now, did the update make the speakers better? Yes, I believe so...
lol man, you do you. it's your playlist, shouldn't matter what others think if you are enjoying your music. sometimes it's just easier to hit skip on a playlist instead of trying to scroll to a specific song while driving.
This is an evolving list as I'm also exploring, but here are some tracks that I enjoy with the new update.
Monk's Dream - Thelonious Monk
Save Your Tears - The Weekend
Feel It Still - Portugal, The Man
Uptown Girl - Billy Joel
All Along the Watchtower - Jimi Hendrix
Take On Me - a-ha

I use Apple Music on an Android phone as my daily driver. Before the Connect+ update, I streamed it over BT. I did have issues logging in with the QR code after the update, but that eventually resolved itself later in the day.
I also was not allowed to claim the Apple Music trial...
