Having to drive on snow mode...LOL that doesn't make any sense.
Additionally, I noticed that some areas of the road that should be smooth are bumpy and thump sounds form teh suspension.. and other areas that should be bumpy are very smooth. I know it doesn't make sense but thats the best...
I totally understand what you are talking about. Under the soft option, the best way to describe it is that the suspension feels artificial. The articulation on bumpy roads, not what I am used to. And I have owned an EV (Tesla), PHEV, and many other vehicles.
I had one on order.. but will never buy another Tesla. I have never known a car company that is willing to screw over their loyal customer base like Tesla has the past year.
We got our Model Y last summer. With the price decrease (not including new federal tax incentive) its $13k less. I...
I updated my city from lower case a to Capital A and that caused a processing estimate a couple months ago. Probably took me to the back of the line as well.... we will see.
Actually our MYP is pretty complaint.. handles the bumps better then our friends R1T.
However, I want to get rid of it. Tesla has screwed over any buyer that has bought one prior to 2023. Mine is down $13k from when i bought. Its all about the bottom line with no consideration for the...
there are 4 places that you can jack up with the pucks. so how are you going to get the jack stands under? Unless you have 4 trolley jacks.. which I wouldn't want my car up in the air that way for days. or you get the jackstands with the bottle jacks (cheapest I have found are $70each).
thats awesome you have someone that can do all that who is trustworthy. I have wondered, if I had to choose different wheels, how i would handle taking these all off without buying 4 different jacks and have it sitting in my garage for days.
Maybe a stupid question, but while it was in the shop... they took the wheels off and did it for you? What did they use for the jacks? Did you have the pucks?
Cybertruck has almost 2 million preorders.... don't know how they can say its a side show. I have a deposit in just hoping it looks better when it comes out. I am thinking it will be 2026 and beyond for my # to come up.
One more thing on the K02's. There is a C load and a E load. The C load were factory OEM. They got me around 15k miles before they started showing wear and were not as "sticky" on ice. the E load while pricier lasted longer.
I'm waiting on my R1S and looking forward to putting these on. I had these on my Raptor and loved how well they did in the snow. Living in CO u need some dependable tread for the crazy weather...plus our road never gets plowed.
