I suggest going with 20s or 22s. You will have more options to choose from, especially w/the 20s.
I know the cost of doing so, since you will need to buy the rims. I was in the same situation. I went with the 22s.
Another one of these posts. At least the OP got to "wanting" CP in the 1st page.
Yes, you, and I do to, may want Alexa, the internet, cp/aa for free, for X number of years. Well, it is not and was never stated as being so by Rivian.
Should Rivian or Amazon store your contact, phone history...
I agree with the CC on file w/Riv process.
I used my free adapter, for the 1st time, yesterday at a Tesla supercharger in New London, CT. It was plug and play, errh pay. But, damn, so expensive.
IMO, this inconsistency, bad service, including the time delays might hurt Riv more than anything else and sooner. Word of mouth can make or break a company.
I hope not. I love my T, Izzy. Especially now with the Defender tires and black rims.
As of right now, the Chelsea SC will be...
Yesterday, I had the same tires replace my OEMs They, Sullivan Tire in Worcester, MA, set the PSI to 50. But after reading this thread and others, it seems I may need to increase the PSI.
In my case I will wait until after the SC recalibrates my "T" from 21" to 22" wheels.
Hopefully others...
BTW: In one of the FB groups someone mentioned using the Marlborough location. I forgot exactly what was done.
Also, I specifically asked them if they had the software, metrics needed to align my "T". They said yes. I will know after a few more days of driving around.
The alignment seems fine, but i need to drive some more. I also need to have the system recalibrated from 21" to 22" by Rivian.
It cost a little more than $200.
The good.
They told me it would not be ready until 4 pm. It was ready at 2 pm or so. They did use the pucks properly.
The "bad".
Somehow there was some confusion on my willingness to pay for an alignment as they changed my rims and put new tires on. So I had to wait for a little while the...
Thx for your reply.
The local tire shops, except for Good Year, of course, have all suggested the Defender. I am having the Defenders put on the 22" oem rims, as of this post.
I just left Izzy to get new tires. The Michelin Defender LTX Ms2 119s. Also, going to 22".
I am using the location behind the old Higgins Armory in Worcester.
They said they knew what to do. I still showed them how to set the tire service, left the Izzy in Offroad, highest. I also gave them my...
Like most, I prefer to have the service done at the SC, to avoid any possible warranty confusion, concerns. IMO the problems are the long wait times and when told, "it's within the specs", to find out the issue was not fixed, within a day or two.
Why is this post in the R2 forum?
