I'd also enjoy this. They have already programmed it too but use it as a failsafe. Was lovely for a brief moment when all our infotainment was broken and we got a basic dash for a few days.
The most exciting part about this update to me is they will be able to see that >85% of people switch to the view without the pointless car view that Tesla forced on us all. At least I hope that is what happens and they realize that space can be used for so many other normal things besides an...
Same, but also, is he even in low height mode? ;)
If I were ever that close I would absolutely have stopped and dropped my trailer 5 miles from the charger even though that's a pain. If anyone happens to find a post about that low range I'd love more details on the expected range vs reality.
The difference for me is that I know how to turn off a lightbulb if I'm going away for a long time. If I'm walking in and out of the room to get a snack I leave it on.
I'd complain a lot less if Rivian provided the "deep sleep on/off" button I've always wanted to we have a choice over...
I'd argue 5% over 7 days is still pretty horrible vs others like your E. Depending on the weather it was sitting it of course, they get a pass for winter.
I hope they get it sorted out, it's still the thorn in my side with my truck and the idea of adding a second to split between other vehicles is tough to swallow if I can't let it sit for long without watching it drop electrons all over.
I'll let someone else handle that. I don't want to be responsible for some poor firefighter taking a water cap projectile to the face while fighting a fire.
EVs get enough bad press already
Well that is really neat too! Next they will have to add little emergency water ports to the side of a vehicle like they do for tow hooks.
I wonder how many battery packs that works as a one and done puncture. Or how well it would handle Rivian's underbody protection package.
No idea, but if I ever end up in the back of one I'll just keep yelling " TURN ON AIR, TURN ON AIRBAG"
Or maybe "Hey Tesla, activate wheels off mode". *Poof! Wheels eject*
I'd say spoiler alert but I already watched this and was happily surprised when the Rivian "roared" into view.
Made me want to go pull a heist just for the getaway.
Hmm quest for the 12v culprit continues then. I'd turn it off anyways just with the hopes that it wakes up the brains (and this HVAC) less if it can't call home.
