  1. Vampire drain - what's the latest battery % loss people are getting?

Best option I have with my winter charging setup using the mobile charger. Has remained reliable for me so far (not verified, just consistent with prior firmware results and in line with others. Could be that I let it sit before starting the trip meter so it is in a stable state, no idea) If...
  2. How to stop this noise? First reverse of the day

I'll listen more carefully next time I drove but I have a similar sound. I just assumed it was my pads breaking free from some salt based corrosion now that it's winter after sitting for a while.
  3. Vampire drain - what's the latest battery % loss people are getting?

Still losing 1kWh per 24 hour period. Keys 50 miles away or nearby no difference, locked, and garage ~60*
  4. What do you want addressed in the next OTA update?

Came here to post this exact thing. Happened in the same storm as you. I was in standard, it's crazy they don't automatically override the change and keep it the same if allowed. That would be my preference across the board. Otherwise a prompt saying "too fast to change, stay at current...
  5. Feeling windshield wipers in accelerator pedal?

@DaveA above suggestion will cause a much worse metal on metal noise when the arms start hitting the hood. I assume you understood his sarcasm or would have seen the warnings while attempting that in wiper service mode but figured I'd mention it. Good luck with your squeaks. If you really...
  6. RIVIAN | CARRY US - Short Film Video (Independent Ad)

Guess his options were to search the dessert or just wait for a wristband delivery.
  7. What fits in gear tunnel?

Similar to some other bins in this thread, I picked up two of these bins at Costco this weekend. I liked the options for mixing and matching gear. https://www.costco.com/greenmade-store-all-storage-crate%2c-4-pack.product.4000068019.html $30 shipped, only 20 if you can find them in the...
  8. 2nd row headrest removal difficult?

You should sell that to Rivian, nothing like it here. https://rivianservicetools.com/ Will save us all a lot of post warranty billing in the end. They had to replace my rear shelf and I assume removed those for that work recently. My loaner had the same warping.
  9. 2nd row headrest removal difficult?

I don't recall the perfect method but I remember holding some upwards pressure with one hand on the headrest and then fiddling with each button separately with the other hand one at a time. Came right out.
  10. cybertruck's offroading capability seems to be rather limited?

I like how you tripled down on styling
  11. Rivian announces new VP of Product Management....and Rivian R3 ?!

I heard from that guy's drycleaner that it's actually called an R2^2 and is going to be a reboot of a Scion xB since Tesla's Aztek reboot was so popular.
  12. Why the efficiency graph is way off vs real efficiency.

I think the first 15 min includes some of the vampire drain from the period it has been sitting. Haven't fully chased that down but try resetting the trip counter 15 min into a 30 min drive and j bet they are pretty equal.
  13. 3D Printer help: an oval 90º "L" bracket to fit over charge port light

Would putting the reflective tape on a corner of the charge door back side work for you? It overlaps a bit and might reflect enough for you. Worth a try
  14. L2 charging (220v/12A) ...Why is it warming battery for 30 minutes before starting to add miles?

Charging on 110 can be rough. This was in a 64* garage and somehow the vampire drain ate 1/3 of the juice over 42 hours.
  15. Unacceptable Heater Performance

I can't go test this now but once the rear vents are off does it still say "auto" below the set temp? I had bad user error and was turning off auto when changing other settings. I still don't understand why the set temp shows when auto is off but now make sure I look for the "auto" and it...
  16. Freezing Temps - Unable to open spare tire latch on the R1T

haha Very much intended to hold onto the option. Would double suck to get a flat, pull over, pee, THEN realize it is stuck. Though if I were wise I'd unlatch it, pee, then try to lug that thing out of its cave. PSA reminder, the cover can be pushed up to vertical. Blew my mind when someone...
  17. Freezing Temps - Unable to open spare tire latch on the R1T

Shoot, now I need a hair dryer to get to the floor cooler? At least we know why the cybertruck went with a half assed bed strapped spare. Thanks for the heads up, I'll make sure to pull the spare out before relieving my bladder. (I hope you'd enjoyed this selection of jokes. Genuinely this...
  18. Connecticut FS: Cross Bars - never used

Dang, wish I still lived in New Canaan. GLWS
  19. Vampire drain - what's the latest battery % loss people are getting?

0.8kWh used overnight in 12 hours. 1.6kWh/day Outside in cold 20* temps. Will compare to a heated garage tonight.
