  1. Hauling gravel

Nope! It probably won't really notice 500lb and will level out when you get in. If worried going to high may help. I've loaded 1600lbs of mortar in while in low without any issues. Now watching a forklift plop 3000+lbs of wet mulch in... That was terrifying and quickly reversed.
  2. Hauling gravel

+1 for the tarp. Have your straps ready before they load under the tarp in case the tie down anchors are buried. I also have a thin sheet of plywood fit to the bed size for landing pallets on, also easier to shovel out of a flat bottom bed without the ridges but for 500lbs of gravel that's...
  3. If you could pull the trigger on an R3 / R3X today….

    0. ...would you take delivery immediately? Yes. 1. Probably nothing besides a lot of R1T miles and maybe an M2 2. Nothing immediately.
  4. Vampire drain - what's the latest battery % loss people are getting?

Thank you for your testing! I've had proximity off for a couple weeks now (annoying to use) but drain has definitely improved significantly. So now I'd like a new option: Proximity locking from driver door sensor only. If they have Bluetooth sensors all over, I'd be okay with disabling 3/4...
  5. Rivian R2T pickup? [updated with R2T trademark pending]

I'd like an R2T or R3T. I get why length is important for bed length but would like a narrower truck option too. That said, really happy with the R2 and R3 styling!
  6. R2 Price, Specs, Dimensions leaked!! $47500, 0-60 3 sec, 330 miles range

Every spec list of the R2 should lead with 2 glove boxes :involve:
  7. R2 Reservations are open and it's FAST!

I did that for 20 minutes. Glad I wasn't the only one.
  8. R1S Hitch - cotter pin alternatives?

Rhino locking 2.5" pin also fit well. Though I haven't tried it with chains yet just verified it fit once after delivery. On sale for $30. Cheapest option would be a gloves or a pair of old pliers though which is my method most of the time if the cotter pin gives me trouble...
  9. Ski Resort L2 Charger etiquette

I agree with most above, charge if you need it but if you have close by options leave it for someone else. I've checked at lunch to plug in after parking beside the space. Have also charged the full day never hitting 100% multiple times but those were on trips when the hotel didn't have a...
  10. ⚡️ Rivian announces: March Tesla Supercharger access & free NACS adapters!

I didn't understand the Ford comment of "once demand is figured out". If they are giving them out for free (for a limited time) why would demand not be 100% of the Ford CCS1 vehicles sold? I hope Rivian is planning on mailing one to every vehicle.
  11. ⚡️ Rivian announces: March Tesla Supercharger access & free NACS adapters!

Agreed, I was only hoping for it as backup when things pop up at work which is 50 miles from home charging but near a supercharger. Pretty easy for me to have an unexpected extra 100 miles tacked onto my day. Oh well, I'll just charge a bit higher at home.
  12. ⚡️ Rivian announces: March Tesla Supercharger access & free NACS adapters!

I've tried hard to get them to understand and fix this. Last time they said it was taken care of and was due to me having two accounts one with a period in my email and one without. But both of those go to the same gmail account and I still don't get all the emails ??
  13. ⚡️ Rivian announces: March Tesla Supercharger access & free NACS adapters!

Thanks for dashing my hope of a useful supercharger within 50miles. ? I had hoped the local was a V3 but was afraid to check. Also crushed my magic doc hopes for that location. Hopefully ChargePoint fixes the two CCS nearby at some point.
  14. 85 mph speed limit

Let's say this person then enabled driver+ with the intention of traveling 83mph in an 80mph zone but with updated snow tires the computers calculated an extra 3% of speed and stopped you because it registered over 85mph with the inaccurate speedo and d+ Vmax. That's the topic I thought this...
  15. A Shot at Rivian? Scout President says Scout will have “real buttons”

This sums up my lack of air vent adjustment too I'd gladly take at least 10 more buttons but I'm excited to try out the newest update with the quick button menu.
  16. Rivian App updated version released for iOS and Android

I know this probably isn't a good work around/solution but you can disable the power tailgate in the in truck settings menu. I was happy when I found that for towing but don't think it would be as useful for your case. Agree it would be nice to customize the widget and I'm sure that'll come...
  17. Be careful. App may sign out.

I keep my passwords in my glove box just in case. I always have a card in my pocket but use my phone. Have had this same.logout happen to me once before and it still induced a bit of panic. On a less risky note, Spotify made me update my password days ago and I keep forgetting to log in...
