Not sure on the wheels dimensions. We are summer tires year-around in Florida.
Having been a teen driver, I would not suggest having my son or daughter driving the EV given the unnecessary power these vehicles have. Every light would be a race. All my personal opinion.
In terms of the...
Dual Standard has 92.5 kWh battery. Maybe "industry standard" was the wrong term, but I can say I have personally experienced the same with the Tesla Model 3 and Model Y. Tesla makes up probably half of the overall EV market?
Obviously there are many factors that impact this, which I have not...
Perceived size is pretty significant if I am honest. We had bucket seats on the Tahoe, and when running carpool, it makes all the difference in the world. It is honestly my wife's greatest fear with this now being her daily driver. On top of that, the sliding mechanism is not child or adult...
In an earlier post, someone had asked about the panels aligning. I took a closer look last night, and the only two areas that seems to be lacking still are the hood/front quarters and the space between the front and rear passenger doors (both sides are the same).
1) The hood is tight up toward...
I went with the OC interior, as well. It is a family car, and I am sure will get plenty of higher than usual use in the second two rows. Last night I applied the Gyeon Leather Shield. Very simple application (plenty of videos on Youtube showing it). I think this is a must for those that have OC...
I did not have a Gen 1 where I would have a good comparison. My Rivian is garaged in Florida. I lose 1% max overnight. Seems like that is what most EVs are seeing these days. I have not left it unplugged for more than one night if that is necessary to really evaluate this.
No way. Overstepping the boundaries for me to have done that. I haven’t seen any Rivians with handles out and not unlocked.
It did make me think about how useful a two way radio would be and how Gear Guard could be improved to function similarly to a Ring camera system. It’d obviously need an...
No superpowers here, that I’m aware of at least. If it is a bug, hopefully that can be fixed quickly! Too coincidental that this would happen twice in a pretty small sample of owners.
All that said, the worst part of it was that the R1T remained unlocked after we drove away. I had my wife take...
Really strange situation today. I return to the Orlando airport from a two night trip. My 2022 Ram Limited eTorque with 13k miles on it is dead as a doornail. So I’m standing there waiting for the airport security to help jump my truck. A few cars down from me is a Gen 1 R1T that I walk over to...
I’m in Florida, so I did not check. No front license plates here. It does have a holder in the front trunk net pockets though. That’s all I’m good for.
I posted yesterday on this, and that was my observation. When you floor the accelerator, it touches the mat. The mat still had some memory to it, which I figured would settle with little time.
My personal observation was that it could not impair the pedal mechanism and get jammed or anything...
I do not notice any difference in the wheels. Not sure they changed them?
I posted earlier on the mats. At first I was thinking no issues. I ordered the LinerX and they fit in place, all clips snap into place. I tested the seats and at first did not notice any rubbing, but last night I did hear...
Wind noise was not noticeable and to me quieter than most SUVs I’ve driven in the last couple years. The Mercedes GLS still has them all beat, but I’ve been driving without the music on quite a bit and wind noise doesn’t come to mind.
Also for those wondering, the floor mats from the 2022-2024 snapped in perfectly to the 2025. I moved the seats around with no issues of rubbing. The only touching I noticed is on the accelerator when pushed all the way down it barely touches the mat, but the mat also sits up a little bit that I...
Also, for those who were wondering…the horn still sounds like it came off a ride at Disney World. I think it was designed to say “hello” to other Rivians, not serve as a way to alert other vehicles.
No, they would not let me sit in one with the premium audio since it was another customer's car, which I can appreciate.
They unfortunately did NOT change the second row mechanism. It's honestly the only miss on this car for me so far. Why it does not return to the same position it was in...
