Does anyone know if the access to the third row is still the same on the Gen 2? When we test drove the Gen 1, it slides forward great, plenty of space for someone to get to the third row, but returning the seat to the position it was in was a multiple step process which would be a pain for...
Ordered a Dual Standard to lease for my wife. I have the same status. Purchase process to begin in 1-4 weeks.
When I ordered, it said delivery in 1-6 weeks. I was on the phone with my sales guy when the store went live, and he could see that my vehicle had a build date of 6/4, but was still “on...
I was scheduled to pick up a Gen 1 quad R1S later this month, but the Gen 2 had too much to offer, so I flipped my deposit to a Gen 2 when they were first released yesterday in the shop. The new vehicle with the respective VIN show in my portal now, but I cannot proceed with the purchasing...
Having a truck with AT tires, the noise is there, and in an EV which is inherently quieter than an ICE vehicle, I think going with the 22-inch option is best. I like the look of the darks, but if your curb them, it's silver and very noticeable. The brights blend a little better. The R1S I am...
What incentives are people getting from Rivian to push the Q2 2024 quarter-end sales?
I figured this would be particularly relevant with the influx of new R1S vehicles that hit the Rivian site today. We were all thinking that the last of them had been scooped up, when all of the...
That makes me feel a little better, LOL! Will be interesting to see if they push any incentives on these remaining inventory they dumped on the site today, like they did at end of Q1 '24.
I was recently assigned a VIN, and it is 345xx. Based on what I am seeing here, this means it could have been built back in January. Pick up date is set for June 24th, meaning it has been sitting for 6 months. Would this give any of you concern? Seems like a really long time.
I have one I am sitting on to see what happens in the coming days, and it is VIN 345xx. Any indication of how long this one may have been sitting around?
Which wheel swap did you do?
I’ve been requesting the 22-inch wheels swap from the 21s, an incentive they did last quarter, and I’ve been getting the response from my sales guy that “we will have to wait until mid-June to see if any incentives are offered on old inventory, which I don’t think...
I posted about this earlier. Mine did not account for the destination fee. When I checked out, the price was $92,500. When I go to the steps in the lease process on the site, it now shows price of $94,300.
I guess I’ll ask my guide.
Did your monthly lease payment go up (compared to what the lease estimator showed) when you got to this step? Mine went up because the vehicle price went up $1,800 (presumably the destination charge).
I don’t have a problem paying for the destination charge. It’s just strange that since every...
I picked the online process up tonight, inputting registration, etc. I flipped over to the lease terms, and I noticed that there was $1,800 added to the cost of the vehicle, which I presume is the destination fee. I feel like I have seen others on the forums say that the MSRP on the "Shop Now"...
Watching thread. Just placed an order for a 2024 R1S at the reduced pricing. I was a little hesitant given that the end of quarter is next month, but I figured my lease process will likely still be open. It's reassuring to see Rivian treats open orders like the new ones with adjusting the prices.
I noticed this tonight, too. Went ahead and reserved a quad R1S at the lower price. May the lease process begin...
I welcome any tips from folks who have been through the process. This will be a first time lease experience for me.
I just spoke with Rivian, and there is limited inventory available right now, and they do not anticipate the new inventory to hit the ground until early June following the factory shutting down for re-tooling, which recently re-opened.
Time will tell what happens in June...
