Any indications of interior colors yet? Probably too soon, I know, but I'd love to see an interior with earth tones, maybe saddle tan or even a redwood brown color. Rivian seems to avoid these colors, which runs counter to the earthy 'adventure' image, imho. My fav so far from Rivian so far is...

Why would anyone want to remove these windows? Pop-out makes perfect sense. Removing them? I don't see a good reason for that. Am I missing something?

I cant tell from the pics, but I am curious to see how they implement the rear window wiper. Since the window rolls down, they must be doing something inside the top of the lift gate, like 4Runners.

In reality, Mrs and I had a reservation for an R1S. Our thinking was we could sell both SUVs. After a few instances where we needed both, we realized we weren’t ready for that yet. Hence the R2 is just for me. Not ready to get rid of my fun car any time soon.

Thanks! Yes, I’ve done a test drive of an R1S. Different feel, but I got used to it quickly. I look forward to learning more here! I’m in the Dallas area, and there is a Rivian space. They expect to have an R2 there in August. I‘ll definitely visit when they do.
