Anyone else catch RJ note that they track how often the front hood is opened?
Now we can add not opening doors to the vampire drain reduction list ;)
(I get this is just one data point and the data harvesting is insignificant, especially compared to the power to lift and close the actual hood)
My solution:
Add a user enabled "buttons for dummies" mode.
Have a headlight shaped indicator area beside the button text that when enabled is compass yellow. When not enabled they are welcome to use any shade of gray they'd like.
I'd enable this instantly and never look back.
That's the other option I would be happy with, using my phone for NFC instead of a card. I'm a caseless phone user though but do carry my card in my wallet as backup.
We have tons of options to lock/unlock which I love. Just wish there were ways to disable ones we don't want at times to save...
I've kinda given up. They weren't reading my emails before responding. The last fix didn't fix it so I may try again at some point but 6+ emails in over a few weeks gets old quickly. I still get the paper and dash recall notices anyways. Just never know what emails I'll miss.

There's a known disconnect where some 2nd hand owners only get half the emails, I have to assume this is tied into that same thing. I've tried fixing it but get nowhere ?
