Had the same question. Juiced up in Maumee there and back Monday (roughly 12 hrs apart) with no issues.
Passed Bowling Green on my way to Wapakoneta OH.
We should have convoyed from MI

That's unfortunate, but at least the Rivian app has a notification for that now.
Many updates ago I plugged in, walked 1/2 mile to a restaurant in 20* icy weather, only to return on a full stomach and a very empty battery 45 min later.
"Improved ride height adjustments to reduce the number of occasions that require the vehicle to raise before a drive."
I wonder if this will fix my pet peeve of not being able to bypass a ride height change when making drive mode changes if going to fast to change.
Re rating planning, I'm...
TLDR: some got lucky, I didn't. A clear policy from Rivian would be helpful. In vehicle tire circumference swapping would be even better.
While OP came in hot here and drifted off course with the whole range/efficiency bit, I also failed to have the same service others here have successfully...
TPMS is not the issue being discussed here. Those sensors (if the correct wavelength/model) happily reconnect and work fine. For instance the ones I bought on Amazon.
What this thread is discussing is a SC reprogramming the computer with a different tire circumference. And the take away is...
Best solution for you would just be switching to a blue truck, right?
Did you put some cardboard or something stiff under the tape or did it hold up with just layered tape?
Strangely the "off at home" setting doesn't seem to kill it quite as well as being actually off. Others here have done much better testing of the different modes as you probably read recently.
Also I'm living at work for the winter so the off at home doesn't work well right now for me.
Yes the app and fob still control the same with proximity off (from button presses)
I find the prox off knocks my vampire drain nearly in half which takes if from very annoying to not nearly as noticable. So much so that I now want a one press hot key to toggle it on and off on the main screen...
Also, I grew up in Fairfield County with small cars so the width might give me a little pause with those roads but only 6" wider than your Gladiator.
(And had a ball of a time driving it home last year with no issues anyways)
Lease a dual motor and never look back :)
But yes I would rebuy my quad tomorrow if it fell in a sinkhole.
Responding more specifically:
I have the 20" AT. I'd recommend getting those for your winter and off roading use but mostly for future tire options. (I now have a dedicated snow setup...
