Some may disagree but I don't think you explained the issues with their website properly as you still think you ordered the thing you wanted not what they sent. Hopefully evbase will read this thread, see the screenshots many of us have highlighted to show the small grey text and our suggestions...
"while their customer service (cs) process and website need help, mistakes were made on both sides. I ordered the wrong thing and they shipped me what I ordered"
Wow this made it to 8 pages??
If you post only "while their CS process and website need help, mistakes were made on both sides. I ordered the wrong thing and they shipped me what I ordered", I'll donate the $210 to your choice of these charities:
A. Camp Kesem
B. Dear Jack Foundation
C. Pick a...
I bet you ordered what you wanted though ;) And that item what was listed on your invoice? $5 says its also what they shipped to you. Crazy how your experience went well.
Thanks for the review on the sled, I'm still undecided if I need one of those in my life since use it for a variety of...
Sure it does, but we don't know the full context. If it was presented as they shipped the wrong thing and they tried to make it right then realized you ordered the wrong thing and they shipped it correctly, thats one thing. They should have honored what they said but nobody knew what the issue...
I'm not trying to hate on you, I promise even though I know it sounds that way, but if you put the correct item in your cart it will reflect that item on your invoice.
Again, they 1000% need to change how they list their item by adding the word "Optional" right in the red underline to make this...
@BlackOpal See this is my struggle, you don't understand the mistake you made, which means you likely haven't explained their mistake to them which is in turn why they haven't updated their website because I am sure they aren't trying to go through 1.5 months of emails to make $230 on the off...
I think it was a mistake on seller's part which needs to be fixed in either method I described, but not intentionally deceptive and its on the buyer to make sure they check out properly by checking the boxes they want.
The subsequent screenshots show what the buyer selected, it would only show...
To more specifically answer your question:
It says choose, then has 4 boxes, one with a red selected frame around it. That was your clue there were options.
Again, yes they should have updated their title or split into two webpages. Not fully your fault, but could have been avoided with a bit...
1. The invoice happened after you missed the option while ordering so I don't get your defense there. It also clearly shows on the invoice that you selected the 1 of 4 options without the armor but that's only clear if you saw there were options to start with because:
2. The company should...
I'll grant they could help this issue by updating the product page category to say "...with optional lower rocker..." so it is clearer you need to select the $230 upcharge.
I had 4 options to pick from plus then 2 options for the letters or not.
The 4 options look like photos not selectable options but you can click them to order the correct product. This is OP's mistake I fear. He might want to at least link to this discussion in the 4 other threads he blasted EV...
These "Recall Rallys" look pretty fun, but how do they get back from the service center? Greyhound?
Edit: at time of posting this had 2,269 likes. Musk would be so proud.
Next time you need a present for her have them refinished by Ping, I'm told it's shockingly reasonable and quick. Though I don't know if they would do it for the copper. Neat set, I get why they would be hard to pry away from her.
Not crazy to hope for functionality included in a 2014 MB station wagon. (I long for a dumb cruise option to work as well as that adaptive cruise too)
That said, a different friend did get squished from this sort of feature so some of the blowback here is well founded.
