Why is all the responsibility on them to make it right? They made a mistake, so now they they need to be punished for it? When you make a mistake, do you want the person you made the mistake with to be understanding, or do you just want to be punished?
Sorry. I don't think like that. I expect human beings to make mistakes, just like I do, so I am willing to forgive them when they do.
This isn't a human being making a mistake. It's a merchant.
That being said, If I make a mistake, I do expect to be responsible for that mistake lol. Why shouldn't I be? It's not punishment, its accountability. Punishment makes it sounds punitive. It's not, it's owning their mistake. What's to incentivise stopping that mistake from continuing to happen?
