According to Chevrolet, the 0-60 on the upcoming Z06 is 2.6 sec. Mine is 2.9, although C&D says 2.8. Whichever you believe - both are super quick!

I did a chat with TireRack a couple of weeks ago asking about a winter wheel/tire package for the R1T. He told me they were trying to get information from Rivian, but had not gotten any specifications yet.

I'm looking at having two sets also - winter set/summer set. Biggest thing to keep in mind is the high weight of the R1T. Make sure whatever wheels/tires you get are rated for the GVWR of the truck. I have read in the past that many aftermarket wheels are not nearly as strong as OEM wheels.

For those of us that will have a dedicated spare wheel/tire combo (winter boots for me) this raises a question. I have always had my winter combo configured with TPMS, and they have always had pressure readable by the vehicle. This item makes me wonder if it will be... Just got off a chat...

My preorder currently specs the 22" package, and I will purchase a winter wheel/tire combo for snow season. I would prefer to get a set of the 20" OEM wheels, but that will probably not be possible, or if so, very expensive. My normal wheel/tire sources, TireRack, DiscountTire, etc. still do...

I agree - I got my C8 last Fall. Several times people have walked up to me near the back of the car (where C O R V E T T E is spelled out in large letters) and asked "Is that a Ferrari?" Everyone I speak to about my R1T preorder asks me who makes Rivian. It's gonna be a long time before that...

I believe there are laws against flashing front red lights on anything other than emergency vehicles.
