It's probably from the factory and I would live with it. Fixing it would require taking material off and that is not for the fait of heart and can lead to going through the clear coat. Get a good ceramic coating it will help fill the valleys and your paint will be all the better for it.
Is the orange peel on the hood also, or is limited to a side or area? I'm asking because orange peel is a result of over application of the material, paint or clear coat. It is very rare to have it from the factory however it it possible. My father was an expert in this field, he worked at 3M...

The Purchase Summery page keeps trying to get me to schedule delivery, even though my truck is still in route. So I thought I would take a quick journey over to the temp service center to see if it had really been delivered. It is still on the way, however I met some very nice Rivian employees...
