For me this started when the software release that had the Braking assist came out. Or maybe I noticed it then... when over about 40 mph when I lift the throtle, there is a click I can hear and feel in the pedal. It only happens 1/3 throttle or more, but not when shallower.
It sounds to me like...
I had this same issue this week. Unrelated to the app version I don’t think. There was also an iOS update.
try rebooting your phobe
I ended up removing and re adding the phone key to get it working. Only after I did all of that did I ci wider a phone reboot.
If you don’t get full speed, there has been situations where you need to call Rivian for a “settings push “ to your unit. Seems like some were shipped with some sort of difference.
This should be as easy as a swap on the wires to the driver. This means pulling it out which you may not want to get into, but an A/B comparison would tell you pretty instantly.
Absolutely positively turn off the 3D sound. Listen for several minutes before thinking it's bad. 3D sound tends to disperse things a lot and gives a hollow sound. It also tends to make the kickdrum feel spread out and not punchy. I was a LOT happier once I turned it off.
Slamming is definitely not the best way, I use the "two-side" method. Solidly close one side by pushing in the left half of the lit. Then quick push down on the right side right above the latch.
The only way to get iPhone to stop doing that sound is to flip the silence switch on the side. It’s very annoying that it’s so loud and not configurable.
This is definitely going to catch some people off guard. Mine was regeistered in March 23 and still shows an error in their system. Do you think that the "complex renewal" method puts it on the right track to get a renewal letter next yer?
I find that with PaaK if you are near the vehicle it wakes and starts cabin conditioning. This happens at greater distances and well before I get close enough for the doors to unlock. I believe the best way to stop this is to disable bluetooth on the phone.
I just recently noticed that my R1T is not making any Pedestrian warning sounds. It definitely was when it was delivered two months ago.
Anyone else have theirs stop working?
I'm a bit torn on getting it fixed. It is nice and quiet now :)
