This is why I plan to overlap my i4 with my R2 purchase by a couple months. My R1S dropped a rear drive shaft in my first week of owning it, they had to tow it from South Jersey to Brooklyn back then. Had to make a bit of a stink to get that to be free, but those were early days.

My watch band chipped the heck out of the "chrome" strip on the handle. I put a piece of clear tape over at after I noticed what was causing it. I will cover high touch areas in my R2 with some sort of clear tape on day 1.

I was definitely 30% lower range at best under 30f degrees. I drove my R1s quad 90 miles a day, half at 75mph.

I never used the frunk in Model Y, used it al the time in my R1S. The powered up and down made all the difference.
