Yeah. If you can skip a charger entirely it may make sense. But charger density isn't where it needs to be for that to be universally reliable. All our unique normal travel will dictate our circumstances.
I second this. Also the max really will only save you time if your total trip is within the extra range window. Charging up during a long trip after the first leg, you really don't by much. A few minutes saved at each stop. I wouldn't pay up for it unless the charging curve is that much...
Hmm. Good to know yours works. I've tried the app, RFID card, credit card and having them just push the charge remotely. Same issue at all sites. Rivian wants my truck at the service center to further investigate.
For what it's worth, they are going to give me a loaner or rental for the...
Following up on this. My truck will still not charge at all on the Francis energy network. No issues with EA, Chargepoint, or Freewire. Has anyone successfully initiated a charge with Francis this month? I've got a service ticket in with Rivian but no success yet.
This is the way. ☝
I just wrapped up a 1000 mile round trip road trip over two days about half on the interstate and half on rural Texas FM roads. I averaged 72 mph down and 68 mph back. 2.3 mi/Kwh on the way down, and 2.2 mi/Kwh back. The biggest factors affecting range are temperature and...
Is anyone else having issues charging at Francis Energy locations? Recently they have all been giving me communication failed errors. I do not have this problem on other networks. I have the problem now with all Francis Energy locations.
My truck routinely tries to send me to a charger at the tail end of a road trip. I have rolled into the garage at 1% a few times now. A bit nerve wracking on the way in the first time, but I have become much more confident in my ability to gauge the truck's range. Limited range relative to my...
Sorry for the delayed response. Not sure how I missed this, but yes I can ship to California for 160 per wheel so 1840 for the full set. The wheels themselves are in good shape. The tires are worn consistently with their mileage.
Rivian did program the truck with the 20s when they swapped...
Once I got things lined out for a home service out of the Dallas Service center they were on the truck a week later. The tires were balanced at the service center before shipping. I have had no alignment issues or any vibration since I put them on.
Ride quality on our Oklahoma roads is much...
Still Available. Seems there isn't much of a market around here for a set of 21s with worn tires. PM me if you have any interest.
I just replaced my wheels with 20" Darks. I have 4 21s with about 15,000 miles on them. Wheels are in great shape, tires are probably adequate for a spare, but...
My f150 was considerably more resilient. But this far hail resistance is the only thing at which it was superior. Other than the range of course.
Haven't washed it yet, but you can barely see them.
