I don't recall if it was asked, but thought I'd share info about battery drain when not in use. My R1T sat for several days unplugged while I was away travelling. The battery lost an average of ~4.2% per 24 hours. 110 volt receptacles and gear guard were off.
Service did tell me that this patch is supposed to fix an alert I have had for the hood latch. I haven't seen the alert since I updated. Mobile service is scheduled to come out Friday to run a diagnostic and should resolve that open ticket.
I have some minor things that I will try to remember to share at a later time, but wanted to address a couple things with the accessories.
I wish the rubber mats fully extended to the bottom door sill as there will be lots of pine needles getting in the gap:
I didn't know that the field kit...
Feels kind of strange to be posting a photo of my own R1T in this thread, but I happened to notice how reflective the back window was parked in my driveway:
It was great to meet you too! No worries at all on holding me up as I totally get it and was happy to let you "kick the tires" :) It was nice to geek out a bit with you and your wife rather than the usual conversation of answering "who makes Rivian."
As far as meeting up there are a few of us...
I just went to Costco tonight in my R1T and happened across a fellow forum member :) Even at just 5'7" with the truck at standard height I can reach items along the sides. I had one item settle in the middle back and just used the gear tunnel door to hop up and push it out. Easy peasy.
I had time to drop by a CCS charging station today so I documented the data from it (data points were captured at each minute). This was an EA 350 kw charger.
I charged from 25% SOC to 85%. This took 44 minutes to complete. Peak rate was 154 kw.
At 25% SOC, the mile remaining estimate was 68...
For what it's worth, this was my timeline:
7/19/21: Initial guide contact
~~~~~~~time passes~~~~~~~~~
3/1/22 : Guide notified me that PBA would be sent
3/7/22: Received and signed PBA
3/8/22: Notified my vehicle arrived at the Portland delivery facility
3/11/22: 8 step process became available...
The Spotify quality is quite good. I flipped between Spotify and bluetooth via my phone for the same song and the bluetooth quality was clearly inferior. There isn't a USB option at this time.
1. I asked the delivery person about this as I'm frequently out of cell range when out in the woods. He said there will be map data offline if you are in the vicinity when you lose connection which didn't really give me much of a sense on how it will perform. I asked about manually pre-loading...
