As it turns out, my guide took delivery of his R1T less than a week after he indicated he didn't know when he would be getting it.

I can't speak to other's experience with their guides, but my delivery estimate was definitely not presented as a WAG. In fact he said he was confident that it would be sooner than the "delivery by" date. My pitchfork is close at hand, but I'm not joining the march yet. We need more data...

I can confirm that my guide, who has an R1T pre-order, has no idea when he will be getting his vehicle. Maybe he will be assigned a guide soon and find out?

I don't think there is any question at this point that there is a delay as multiple customers who had been given an October delivery estimate did not receive vehicles. We just don't have visibility of the volume of the delay and what (if any) downstream impact there is. I certainly hope Rivian...

We will soon find out if the customers who were given an October delivery window have gotten bumped. I know of one person who reported that they were told by their guide as recently as Monday that their October delivery window is still accurate...
